What BRK Concrete & Hardscapes does Differently

Pre-Construction Procedures

  • Underground Line Location

    • If we have to dig, BRK will bring in a private utility location service to ensure that crucial infrastructure is not damaged. We want to protect your irrigation, internet, electrical, gas and other service lines that are costly to repair and will cause time consuming inconveniences to our customers if damaged.

  • Irrigation Relocating or Removal

    • Most concrete contractors do one of two things. They require homeowners to have an irrigation company move sprinklers before they start or they deal with irrigation repairs if and when they break. BRK does not ask our customers to deal with irrigation concerns. We handle relocating lines & sprinklers before we start construction. If we make a mistake and break any line, we repair them.

  • Protecting Your Property

    • Construction can be messy. Many times during or after concrete work is done, homeowners will find debris, concrete splatter, dust buildup or other unfavorable messes left behind. At BRK, we take cleanliness seriously. We protect your home, property and belongings before any construction begins. We use tarping, visqueen plastic and plywood to protect your stuff from our mess.

  • Marking the Job

    • Before we start, the work to be done will be marked on the ground with paint. You will see exactly where we are going to be removing landscaping or dirt before we do it. If something is off or incorrect, we want to know before the damage is done.

Construction Process

  • Scheduling

    • We do more than just tell you when we will be there, we show you. Our customers will have access to our scheduling calendar so they can see when we will be on their project. We keep an accurate, up to date calendar showing each step of the project, keeping everyone on the same page.

  • Work Zone

    • The project area on your property will be a designated work zone. At BRK, the safety of our customers is on the top of our priority list. We want to protect your family, friends and neighbors. Our work area will be fenced off and protected from entry. At the end of each day, our employees will make sure the area is cleaned up and access to the work zone is restricted.

  • Communication

    • During construction, the management team will be available to answer questions and address concerns. It is our policy that finishers, labors and other workers do not answer questions about the project, and we ask our customers to communicate only with management for project questions. We do not want any confusion or wrong information given. Our staff will always be friendly but only management will discuss the project.

  • Professional Appearance

    • Our onsite workers will maintain a professional appearance while on your property. We require shirts and protective footwear to be worn at all times while onsite. We do allow shorts and short sleeve shirts because it gets hot in Florida but, we want a professional looking crew representing us and you.

Post Construction Procedure

  • Jobsite Cleanup

    • When BRK leaves a project, we want it to look like we were never there (except of course for a beautiful new piece of concrete). Our crew will do an extensive cleaning process, making sure everything is left how we found it.

  • Final Walkthrough

    • Before leaving, a supervisor will walk the entire site with the homeowner. We want to make sure that everything is done to expectations and that our cleanup is satisfactory.

  • Payment Options

    • We offer several different payment options

    • Cash, Check, Credit/Debit card and Bank Transfers

    • We offer financing through our trusted partners
